Viacorp's logo as seen in Channel 7 - Storm Warning
Viacorp was previously an energy solutions company that was well known. It had been run by the CEO, Cole Murray until his death. The company's fate is currently unknown whether they had shut down or continued running Viacorp.
Goals[]
Although said that their 'goal' was to produce green energy, the company's true goal was to eliminate the order of the tempest.
Channel 7[]
The company was featured in some episodes of the Channel 7 series, mainly in advertisements.
- Special Report: This was the first episode that the company appeared in and was talked about. The episode revolved around the death of the CEO and hijackers showing Viacorp's "true colors"
- Storm Warning: Viacorp had only made a quick cameo as a commercial. They said that they devoted themselves to helping the world become their home and making it a better place. This did not add much to the episode other than simply just appearing.
- Commercial: The company was the many focus in this commercial. There had been an advertisement for eco-HELIX which was a Viacorp company. According to the commercial, the company had been looking for volunteers. Throughout the broadcast though, the channel had been hijacked, trying to make the company look evil.
- Goodnight: There had only been a few clips shown from the episode "commercial" about the company throughout this look-back episode. It was also the company's last appearance in the series.
Death of CEO[]
On April 5, 1990, there had been a special report which interrupted Channel 7's normal broadcasting. Channel 7 reporter, Nick Kelly had reported that the CEO of Viacorp, Cole Murray was found dead in his home in Illinois. During the special report, a hijacking interrupted the report by telling viewers that Viacorp was evil and wasn't what everyone thought it was. Nonetheless, the death of Murray had hit the company hard.
